My mission is to encourage everyone to enjoy the treats they already love while being more mindful of the processed stuff! Each item made is sourdough. We go way beyond bread! We specialize in sweet treats and pastries. All the eggs used come from my chicken coop and I use local raw honey to sweeten. Any fruits and veggies are grown by me and what I can’t grow I source from other local farms and preserve to use through the winter months. I offer my entire menu in GF and vegan options as well! Through minimal, whole and local ingredients, I truly believe we can change our dependency on grocery stores and help make our local agriculture boom!

From ScratchHello Friends 🧡 My name is Chellie and I opened From Scratch in May of 2025. I believe that baking and cooking is my love language and absolutely love to do both! Everything that I make is from scratch, including the butter I use in my recipes. I started out by making bread when I forgot about a loaf in my bread box and when I pulled it out 3 months later, there was no mold on it! I use my mother in laws recipes, as I feel she is with me as I'm baking. My breads are regular breads (not sourdough), my deep dish chocolate chip cookies are GREAT for homemade ice cream sandwiches, and my bread bowls are perfect for football parties or my smaller bowls for soups! ButterburrWe are a multi-generational farm, producing maple syrup since 2000. There is an apiary on site where we produce our own honey. Both products are used in the baked goods sold at the farm stand, along with the maple products and honey, and eggs from our chickens when available. Currently we're baking Fridays after 5pm, Saturdays and Sundays until weather disallows keeping the driveway clear. Hours for the stand are 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week, and maple and honey are always available.

I have a beautiful 19 month old daughter and a very supportive husband. I’ve always been a dreamer turned doer no matter what obstacles come. I've spent my life caring for others whether it be at home or at work. Now that's changing in a whole new way. As a proud micro bakery owner, I'm beyond excited to share yet another thing I pour my heart into. I take much pride in my bakery. Baking has always been an outlet for me, from the time that I was a little girl in the kitchen with my grandma and my mom to now. This is now something I do with my daughter. My grandmother said to me back in November that she couldn’t bake that much anymore due to her tremors and sounded upset. This was a huge turning point for me and my baking because her baked goods are a HUGE part of mine and my brother’s childhood. This bakery will carry on my great grandma Murray, Mom Mom (my grandmother), and my mom’s baking for many years to come. I may not have known my great grandmother but she was a huge part of my mom and grandmas life before she passed. The last thing she ate was one of her molasses cookies. These women shaped me into the person I am. The memories will always stay. ➡️ The recipes I use are things I have came up with and recipes that have been passed down in generations! ❤️ Baking is a way to bring people together. Now the baking that everyone in my family and friends group loves will now be shared with my community also, one baked good at a time! The smiles that my products bring everyone makes this all worth it and then some. This is just the beginning, and I couldn't be more grateful for the love, shares and support! Thank you!
